What happens after you win the auction

From the win to the car in Lithuania usually takes 6–9 weeks. You pay two invoices and collect the car; we take care of everything else.

  1. Pay the first invoice

    YouNext working day

We send an invoice for the car, the auction fees and our service, with the deposit already counted. Pay it in your account. If you pay late, the auction charges a fine and storage. If the sale waits for the seller's approval, we send the invoice once it comes.

  2. We collect it from the auction

    WeUp to 2 wks

A carrier picks the car up from the auction yard and takes it to a US port.

  3. We load it into a container

    We1–3 wks

We handle the export documents and load the car. We send you a tracking code and loading photos.

  4. Sea voyage

    We3–6 wks

The car sails to Klaipėda, and you can follow it with the tracking code. From the US West Coast the voyage takes longer.

  5. Pay the second invoice

    YouWithin 3 working days

While the car is at sea, we send an invoice for shipping, port services, customs duty and VAT. Paid in advance, the car is cleared as soon as it arrives.

  6. We clear customs in Klaipėda

    We~1 wk

We handle the port and customs formalities in our name, so you do not need an EORI number. A VAT-registered company can ask us to clear in its name: enter the company's EORI number in your account.

  7. Collect your car

    You

Pick it up yourself at the Klaipėda port terminal, or our partner carrier brings it to the place you choose: you pay the carrier for delivery, and we tell you the price in advance. You get the keys and the US title, which you need for registration.

  8. Register it in Lithuania

    You

Next come repairs, the technical inspection (certification), the registration tax and registration at Regitra. We do not provide these services, but we tell you what to do and where: see Tips.

You will find more answers on the Delivery and FAQ pages, and the document types on the Document types page.

Is your car already in Lithuania? We would be grateful if you left a review on Google (opens in a new window).
