How much it costs to bring a car from the USA
The auction price is only part of the total. To avoid surprises, know the full price to Lithuania before you bid: we show it on every vehicle page.
What the price is made of
- The car's price at the auction (your winning bid).
- Auction fees: depend on the price and the auction (Copart or IAAI).
- Shipping in the USA to the port and by sea to Klaipėda: on average 1200–1800 EUR, depending on the location, the port and the vehicle type (more for an SUV, a pickup or an electric car).
- Port services in Klaipėda (forwarding, customs broker, unloading): 370 €.
- Duty (0% for US-built cars, 10% for others) and VAT 21% (see Customs duty and VAT).
- Our service fee: 400 € incl. VAT, paid only if you win the auction.
Extra, if you need it
- A Carfax report before bidding: 5 €.
- Delivery by car carrier from Klaipėda to your door: by distance, we quote the price in advance and you pay the carrier directly.
- Repair, adaptation to EU requirements, technical inspection and registration in Lithuania (see After purchase).
